T. J. HOOKER: THE FAST LANE (TV)
Summary
One in this police drama series about the lives of Sgt. T. J. Hooker and his partner, Officer Vince Romano. In this episode, the two policemen witness a car accident involving high school students and alcohol. Hooker and Romano, aware that stolen alcohol is being sold to students, investigate further. Their efforts implicate the young son of a man whom Romano served with and watched die in Vietnam. Hooker and Romano discover that the teenager is an alcoholic and decide to help him to help himself. Also, Romano is made coach of the police academy's football team, which -- much to his chagrin -- is co-ed. Commercials deleted.
