Summary
One in this series of music programs. Marking the close of the second season of "The Bell Telephone Hour" is this first of several compilation specials featuring great moments from past programs. Rosemary Clooney and the Eddie Condon All-Stars perform a medley of Irving Berlin songs, and from a 1960 telecast, Robert Preston sings songs from "The Music Man" and Mahalia Jackson sings "Summertime" from "Porgy and Bess." Segments also feature dancers Marge and Gower Champion; the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo; and violinist Zino Francescatti performing Claude Debussy's "The Maid with the Flaxen Hair." Commercials deleted.
