The Apprentice
7:00 PM ET
Join our panel of heavy hitters as they prepare for the September 16 return of NBC’s phenomenally successful reality show The Apprentice. After three celebrity-filled seasons, the show shuns the glitz and gets back to basics, but with yet another twist: some of the sixteen candidates were once top-of-the-business-tree, but lost their jobs or businesses due to the recession, while others are recent college graduates with few job prospects.
Being touted as “Donald Trump returns to put America back to work,” this new season will emphasize the candidates’ job search—gone are the fancy prizes at the end of each show, replaced by meetings with business leaders and career advice. The candidates will battle it out over a series of business tasks for a shot at corporate success, competing to become Donald Trump’s next protégé.
Clips from the upcoming season will be followed by a discussion and Q&A with Donald Trump; his advisors on the show Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump, Jr.; and the creator of the show, reality TV supremo Mark Burnett.
