A Legendary Evening with Robin Williams

Happy Days! Superstar comedian and actor Robin Williams returns to series TV this fall after an absence of thirty-one years on the new CBS series The Crazy Ones. The Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy–winning star of such films as Good Morning, Vietnam, The Fisher King, and Good Will Hunting portrays Simon Roberts, a larger-than-life advertising genius, in the new workplace comedy from David E. Kelley and costarring Sarah Michelle Gellar.

It’s a particularly fitting role given that Williams’s larger-than-life comedic persona propelled him from his beginnings on the stand-up circuit to the hit television series Mork & Mindy, acclaimed HBO comedy specials, an award-winning children’s album, Broadway, and countless other achievements. Williams also has helped raise more than $50 million for America’s homeless as one of the hosts of Comic Relief.

The Paley Center joins with TV Guide Magazine in welcoming this unique performer to our stage for the first time. This evening will also help mark the occasion of TV Guide Magazine’s sixtieth anniversary.
