The award-winning comedy drama Please Like Me has been lauded by critics around the world and by passionate fans including Lena Dunham who sang its praises on Twitter. Inspired by the standup comedy and real-life experiences of its Australian creator, writer, and star Josh Thomas, the series premieres its third season on Pivot on Friday, October 16. A two-time GLAAD Award nominee for Outstanding Comedy Series, Please Like Me explores the world of a young man who’s in no hurry to grow up. But as he navigates a bipolar mother, a father in midlife crisis, a newish baby sister, an anxiety-ridden boyfriend, a peripatetic ex-girlfriend, and an unmotivated best friend (Thomas Ward), he may just be the most together person he knows. The Paley Center is delighted to welcome Josh Thomas and Thomas Ward for a premiere screening and conversation celebrating the acclaimed series.
