Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive produced by Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, the comedy stars Rachel Brosnahan as Upper West Side housewife turned Greenwich Village stand-up comic Midge Maisel. The show has been praised for its strong cast, sharp writing, cinematography, music choices, and pitch perfect period costume and production design.
