From "Knock Three Times" to "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree" and beyond, Tony Orlando’s five #1 hits are among the defining musical moments of the 1970s, but there’s so much more to his story. In five decades of show business success, Orlando has done it all; from honing his craft as a teenager during the early '60s among the brilliant songwriters and musicians at New York’s famed Brill Building to a career as one of the youngest music industry execs at CBS records working with Blood, Sweat & Tears and James Taylor, among others, to the performing career that brought him international stardom, he remains one of the most iconic, endearing, and enduring entertainers working today.

The Paley Center for Media presents this exclusive and intimate conversation with the consummate entertainer on the occasion of his fiftieth anniversary in show business. This multimedia celebration will include classic moments from his groundbreaking weekly variety series, The Tony Orlando & Dawn Show, the first multiethnic variety series on television.

The recipient of three American Music Awards and a People’s Choice Award will reflect on a life in entertainment including two shows on Broadway, friendships with Bob Hope and Freddie Prinze, and headlining appearances in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and on concert stages throughout the world.
