We’ve just received word that due to production scheduling issues, The Office, scheduled for March 6, will not be able to take part in PaleyFest this year. The series’ production team has been trying valiantly to rework their shooting schedule to take part in the Festival as planned and regret that they must cancel their appearance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are thrilled to report that one of PaleyFest’s favorite shows will appear at the Festival instead. We are honored to welcome the gifted cast and creative team of Parks and Recreation to PaleyFest on March 6 at 7:00 pm.

All “Office” tickets will be honored on the night. For those who do not wish to attend Parks and Recreation, please contact Ticketweb (866.468.3399) for a refund by no later than 5:00pm on Saturday, March 3.

Saturday Night Live alum Amy Poehler leads a stellar ensemble in this fourth-year NBC mockumentary, which has caught election fever this season with its focus on the irrepressible Leslie Knope’s (Poehler) run for Pawnee, Indiana, City Council. Somehow a three-legged dog, a Sweet Sixteen party for a sixty-four-year-old man, a “war” between Denmark and Peru, and one of the most calamitous campaign rallies in election history have all figured prominently in the season’s arc. Comparing Parks and Recreation to the films of Christopher Guest, Matt Zoller Seitz in Salon calls it “a taxonomic study of the American kook, non-lethal variety — and it’s dedicated to proving the hypothesis that everyone’s a bit off once you get to know them.” And in this case at least, to know ‘em is to love ‘em.
