New York, NY-The Paley Center for Media's International Council (IC), a global forum of leading media industry innovators and policy makers, will gather in New York from November 17-19, 2010. This seventeenth meeting of the IC will take place at the Paley Center headquarters in Manhattan where top executives from prominent media, entertainment, and technology companies will come together to share insights and discuss challenges and opportunities facing global media at this important moment in history.  Delegates to IC 2010 NYC will include senior industry executives from companies and institutions from across the globe-from Australia, Germany, Finland, and France to China, India, and Turkey with many countries in between.

Scott Singer, Managing Director, Bank Street Group said of IC 2009 NYC, "The conference matters more than anything because the CEOs of major media companies are all here, globally. And they're here to talk to each other. There's no hidden agenda; this isn't an investor conference; this isn't at another investment bank or a consulting firm. They are here to talk to one another and get ideas from one another and share those and create a better industry for themselves."

About The Paley Center for Media's International Council

Created in 1995, the International Council brings together the chief executives of the world's most important media companies. Past meetings have been held in Rome, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, London, Vienna, Beijing, Cape Town, Montréal, Istanbul, New Delhi, Bangalore, and California's Silicon Valley. The activities of this year's International Council are made possible by generous grants from Booz & Company, Gustave M, and Rita E.
