In addition, having just partnered with the USOC and Paley Center Trustee Emeritus Gordon Crawford to offer the public the first comprehensive archive of historic recordings of U.S. broadcasts of the Olympic Games, ESPN has also donated hundreds of hours of ESPN programming to the Paley Center archive- including SportsCenter, The ESPY’s, and the documentary series 30 for 30. Stemming from their role as Presenting Partner for the gala honoring ESPN, Roc Nation Sports will continue to work with the Paley Center both as a corporate member and as a partner on future strategic projects.

“We’re thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting Paley Center sports initiative that will include dynamic new partnerships with sports industry leaders and institutions as well as an incredible lineup of public events, programs, and screenings of major sporting events rolling out this summer and continuing into 2015 and beyond,” said Maureen Reidy, president & CEO of The Paley Center for Media. “Being able to watch the World Cup games on our movie theater screens for free with other soccer fans from around the world, and next week’s exciting exploration of second screen usage among sports fans will ensure that the Paley Center is a can’t miss destination for all sports fans.”

The Paley Center is also in discussions with the various sports leagues, teams, and leading sports agencies to integrate their talent, executives, and content into programs for both the public and the media industry and expect to have additional announcements in the coming year.
