"We Have to Go Back" Exhibit in Spielberg Gallery Continues until January 31
New York and Los Angeles—Voted by fans through an online poll, "Through the Looking Glass" and "Walkabout" are the two winning episodes of ABC's popular television show Lost which will be screened in New York and Los Angeles as part of The Paley Center for Media's celebration of the award-winning drama's fifth and penultimate season.
Kicking off "The Lost Saturday" on January 17 at the Paley Center in New York (25 West 52nd Street) at 2:00pm will be the two winning episodes: "Through the Looking Glass" immediately followed by "Walkabout." At 4:00pm, the Paley Center will show a 30-minute preview clip of the new season followed by a never -before-seen video Q&A featuring Entertainment Weekly's renowned Lost theorist Jeff "Doc" Jensen and Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse discussing the season premiere and what fans can expect in season five. After the video, Entertainment Weekly Senior Editor and Lost expert Josh Wolk will moderate a panel discussion with other authorities on the TV phenomenon: Dan Manu, Site Director, Television Without Pity; James Poniewozik, TV Critic, TIME; and Christopher Rosen , Blogger, The New York Observer.
Also in Los Angeles (465 N. Beverly Drive), the Paley Center will screen one of the two fan faves—"Through the Looking Glass" and "Walkabout"—starting January 14 at 3:00pm, alternating each day. On January 21, the day of the special three-hour season premiere event on ABC from 8:00-11:00pm ET, the Paley Center will present the fifth season preview clip at 12:30pm, followed by encore presentations of both the two winning episodes and the 2005 Lost event at PaleyFest (also available on DVD).
Finally, "We Have to Go Back"—marathon screenings of the first four seasons of the TV phenomenon and an exhibit featuring a collection of photography and art from Entertainment Weekly's extensive coverage of Lost over the years—will continue in the Paley Center's Steven Speilberg Gallery in New York until January 31.
Lost stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Jeremy Davies as Daniel Faraday, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Ken Leung as Miles, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet and Terry O'Quinn as Locke. Lost was created by Jeffrey Lieber and J.J. Abrams & Damon Lindelof. Abrams, Lindelof, Bryan Burk, Jack Bender, Edward Kitsis, Adam Horowitz and Carlton Cuse serve as executive producers. Lost, which is filmed entirely on location in Hawaii and premiered on September 22, 2004, is from ABC Studios.
