BROTHERS & SISTERS: LEAP OF FAITH (TV)
Summary
One in this drama series about the California-based Walker family, an adult clan of siblings trying to live up to their parents' lofty expectations after the death of the family patriarch.
In this episode, Sarah tells Luc how much she has missed him. Across town, Rebecca remains closed off with Justin and refuses to discuss her miscarriage. As Kitty's senatorial campaign heats up, Kevin complains to her about Robert becoming too "clingy" with him. Kitty counters that she's running out of patience with her campaign manager Buffy. Meanwhile, Nora is concerned about the return of William's nemesis, Dennis York, into her life. To distract herself, Nora holds a family dinner marking Luc's return to America. There, Sarah learns that Luc's visa expires in four weeks. She also hears about Ginny Lawford, one of Luc's contacts in the art world, who has offered to marry him so that he can obtain a green card.
The next day, Robert remains mysterious with Kevin about his post-senatorial job possibilities. However, Robert assures Kevin that he'll have a position with the new firm. Later, Kevin resigns and Robert angrily tells him to pack his belongings and leave that afternoon. At Ojai, Nora and Holly search through old records to discover the food company's "hidden value" which Dennis has continued to seek. Saul agrees to find Dennis's whereabouts for Nora. Elsewhere, Sarah tells Ginny and Luc that she's comfortable with their marriage, which all will consider "a business arrangement." Accordingly, Ginny and Luc plan to exchange vows later in the day. As Kitty tries to fire Buffy, she gets a phone call from Sarah, during which she convinces her sister to stop Luc's wedding.
Justin confronts Rebecca after finding that she lied to him about having dinner with David. Rebecca explodes, saying that she needs "space" and has secretly been taking ballet lessons to get over the miscarriage. Meanwhile, Holly shows Saul paperwork that she found regarding Narrow Lake, an Ojai property that no one knows about -- except Dennis. At City Hall, Kitty, Nora, and Sarah are delayed by a security snafu as they try to enter the building. However, Sarah eventually makes it to Luc's ceremony before vows are exchanged.
When Saul tells Nora about Narrow Lake, Nora recalls it only as being part of a song that William used to sing to her. Elsewhere, Robert lures Kevin back to the office for a farewell party, just as Buffy and Kitty amicably part ways. Finally, Justin and Rebecca reconcile and try to work out their relationship issues. Includes commercials.
