CRISTELA: MR. FELIX AND MS. DANIELA (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about a young Mexican-American woman working as an intern at a law firm. In this episode, Daniela attempts to befriend Wendy, one of the rich moms from Isabella and Henry's fancy school. When she stops by the house, she mistakes Cristela for the family's nanny, and a flustered Daniela goes along with the lie to keep up appearances. At the same time, Alberto flirts obnoxiously with Cristela as he offers to set up her newly delivered bed, and when Cristela chastises her sister for demeaning her in an attempt to appear wealthy, Daniela lamely points out that she does, in fact, do many nanny-like things for the family. Wendy begins taking advantage of Cristela's "employment," and at work, Trent sadly informs the interns that his usual barista has died and declares that whomever prepares the best cup of coffee will be awarded an exciting new "opportunity."
Alberto struggles to assemble the bed as Cristela grows ever more annoyed with Wendy's attitude, though Natalia expresses pity for her, suggesting that she does not have a loving family to help care for her son. Alberto finally finishes the bed, though Cristela declines to "reward" him, and when Josh, Maddie and Cristela all offer their carefully brewed coffee delicacies to Trent, he names Josh the winner – and gives him the "privilege" of preparing his java every morning. Felix finally convinces Daniela that she was wrong to encourage Wendy's misconception, and Daniela apologizes to her sister and promises to remedy the situation. Later, Wendy stops by to make amends for the confusion – though Natalia changes her view when Wendy notes that she intended to "steal her away" for a hefty salary. Includes commercials and promos.
