SHARK TANK {SHED DEFENDER; LUG BUG; TA TA TOWELS; SANAIA APPLESAUCE} (TV)

Summary

One in this reality series in which aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to established business experts, or "sharks," in the hopes of attaining a financial investment.

In this program, sharks Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, and Barbara Corcoran debate investing in four products. First, Tyson and Myles Walters of Orange County, Californina, introduce Shed Defender, a garment worn by dogs to cut down on dog hair being left in unwanted places. O'Leary and Herjavec make offers but Greiner clinches the winning deal. Next, Nathan Day of Gilbert, Arizona, introduces the Lug Bug, a handle to ease the carrying of baby seats. None of the sharks make an offer on the product. Next, Erin Robertson of Los Angeles, California, introduces Ta Ta Towels, pouch-shaped towels which wrap around women's breasts and can be worn after showers or under a garment to keep perspiration from staining a dress. Greiner is the only shark to make an offer, which Robertson accepts. Finally, Keisha Jeremie of New York City, New York, introduces Sanaia applesauce, which is geared to adults rather than appealing to the baby food market. Corcoran makes an offer which is declined, after which Jeremie accepts Cuban's offer. In followup segments from season seven deals, Wombi Rose and Steve Wise of Boston, Massachusetts, thank shark Kevin O'Leary for investing in their Lovepop 3D cards, and Steve and Angela Watts of Monarch Beach, California, update sharks Cuban and Ashton Kutcher on Slyde handboards, the mini surfboards in which Cuban and Kutcher invested.
