Summary
One in this African-American-based sketch comedy program. Creator and star Keenen Ivory Wayans opens this program by introducing DJ SW-1 and the in-house dance troupe, The Fly Girls. He also comments that boxer Mike Tyson, often parodied on the show, has invited him to a fight in what he fears is a "set-up." Sketches include the following: an advertisement for the "Michael Jackson Mr. Potato Head" toy kit; "Disc Jockey – Death Jockey," an upcoming action film starring DJ SW-1; an appearance by talkative inmate Oswald Bates and his confusing vocabulary; a classroom scene featuring squabbling nerdy youngsters Edna and Parnell; "Uncle Joe's Fairy Tales," in which a prince finds that Cinderella has been "evicted" and replaced by Betwinda Hightower, whose hair is somewhat harder to climb; an episode of "Old Train," featuring a senile Don Cornelius, a number of elderly dancers and an appearance by Fine Young Cannibals; and the finals of the Sweethearts Bodybuilding Competition, at which the strangely masculine Vera de Milo is declared the winner. Commercials deleted.
