Summary
The fourth of four tapes concentrating on the last weekend of WABC Music Radio (Friday, May 7 through Monday, May 10, 1982). This portion features the first "Talk Radio 77" show, broadcast on Monday, May 10, 1982, with Dan Ingram and Ron Lundy as its first guests. John Meyer begins the show by introducing Ron Lundy and Dan Ingram; Ron Lundy and Dan Ingram talk about various topics such as satellites, and their plans for the future; WABC Talk Radio takes calls from the general public in every area of finance, but is cut-off. This is followed by a promo for WABC "Talk Radio," jingles for WABC Talk Radio, news with Joe Vaughn, excerpts from a tribute to WABC aired by WNEW-FM with Meg Griffin, Rick Sklar, Cousin Brucie on commercials from the 1960s, Scott Muni on FM and AM radio, Rick Sklar, Dan Ingram, and "Imagine" by John Lennon. The program conclues with closing remarks by Rick Sklar. WABC's greatest Jingle Hits features a special tape prepared for WABC containing the last twenty-two years of WABC jingles.
