
AMOS 'N ANDY (RADIO)
Summary
One in this comedy series starring Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll as Amos and Andy, two friends living in Harlem, New York. In this episode, Andy has has finished a summer job and decides to propose to Louise, a woman he met while working. Louise will soon come into an inheritance, and Andy buys a lot from Kingfish to build a house. However, Andy has problems when the shortage of building supplies makes the house an impossible dream, and neither his lawyer, Gabby, nor his friend Shorty are much help. And, while Andy is dreaming of their life together, Louise has other ideas. Includes commercials for Rinso laundry detergent, and Lifeboy soap. (This series also aired on CBS from 1939 to 1943 and from 1948 to 1954.)
