Summary
Part two of this six-episode serial of comedic science fiction adventures based on Douglas Adams' book, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." In this episode, Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect, having escaped from Earth before its destruction by hitching a ride on a Vogon starship, are now trapped inside listening to its captain read them Vogon poetry, the third worst poetry in the universe. Despite their attempts to analyze the verse to the captain's liking, and efforts to convince a Vogon guard that he should quit his job, Arthur and Ford are thrown off the ship. However, they are saved by a passing space craft, equipped with a highly coveted infinite improbability drive. The commander of the stolen vehicle turns out to be Zaphod Beeblebrox, a friend of Ford's whom Arthur had once encountered as well. Commercials deleted.
