MIAMI VICE: WHEN IRISH EYES ARE CRYING {THIRD SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of police dramas concerning Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs, undercover detectives for the Miami vice squad. In this episode, Detective Gina Calabrese falls for Sean Carroon, an Irish terrorist, after saving his life. He tells her that he has turned over a new leaf and she believes him, until the rest of the Vice Squad uncovers the truth. In other developments, Detectives Crockett and Tubbs go undercover as gun buyers in order to find out what Carroon and his terrorist cohorts are up to; Sonny's expensive car gets blown up; Detectives Switek and Zito follow a man named Bunny Berrigan, who is working with Carroon, to try to get more information on the terrorists' plans, but have problems when their surveillance van cannot keep up with Berrigan's sports car; and a man from Scotland Yard makes the detectives' work difficult when he interferes with police business in the hopes of killing Carroon in cold blood. Commercials deleted.
