MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE: ZUBROVNIK'S GHOST (TV)
Summary
One in this series of adventure dramas about the exploits of the Impossible Missions Force. In this episode, the IMF team investigates Martha, the wife of the late Dr. Zubrovnik. It appears she has been giving secret information to the Communists on orders from her late husband's spirit. The team poses as a psychic research group in order to figure out if Poljac, a medium, is actually tricking Martha into giving away the secrets. At a seance, Poljac summons Zubrovnik's spirit and tells Martha about a secret note no one else could possibly know about. This convinces Martha to continue working and passing on information to the wrong people. One of the agents, Ariana, who is also a medium, feels the presence of a spirit in the house, but it is the evil kind. Ariana gets the feeling that Zubrovnik is still alive somewhere and is being tortured by Poljac in order to get Martha to continue her work. Rollin also believes the possibility that Zubrovnik may still be alive, but Ariana then has a feeling that Zubrovnik has just been killed. The IMF team plans a seance in order to uncover Poljac's evil plot, but Ariana refuses to mingle with the spirit world. Rollin and Barney are now forced to figure out a plan without Ariana's help. However, as the seance begins, Zubrovnik's actual voice emanates from Ariana. Commercials deleted.
