MACGYVER: SILENT WORLD (TV)

Summary

One in this action/adventure series about MacGyver, a former Special Forces agent known for his inventive survival skills. In this episode, a French organization hires international thief David Crane to steal the high-tech, top-secret Moloch missile from the U.S. government. Crane's only problem is that the pieces of the missile are spread out across the country for security reasons. As MacGyver helps the government test the missile's voice-controlled tracking system, Crane and his thieves find their mission to be easier than they had anticipated. In the meantime, MacGyver's deaf friend, Carrie, tells him about her recurring nightmare in which MacGyver is killed. Carrie agrees to have the Phoenix Foundation test her brain waves to analyze the recurring dream, and later she visits MacGyver at the missile test site since her nightmares began there. As test preparations are made, Crane and his staff arrive at the site to steal the last vital piece of the tracking system. Upon noticing the thief, Carrie warns MacGyver that Crane was the man who murdered him in her nightmare. Crane escapes and MacGyver deduces that he is stealing the tracking system piece by piece. As MacGyver and Carrie retrace the steps she took in her nightmare, shots suddenly ring out, knocking MacGyver unconscious. Crane holds Carrie hostage in a nearby shack and, once MacGyver recovers, he makes a last-ditch attempt to foil Crane using a timing device ase a diversion. Commercials deleted.
