Summary
One in this comedic serial about two families, the affluent Tates and their working-class relatives, the Campbells. In this episode, Mary and Burt Campbell take Mary's son, Jodie, to the hospital for his sex-change operation, and Jodie meets his roommate, Barney Gerber; Burt goes to a psychiatrist to discuss his impotence, and, in flashbacks, tells the story of the death of Johnny Dallas; Eunice, Corinne, and Jodie reveal their respective secrets to one another; Danny visits Jodie in the hospital -- disguised as a nurse to avoid mobsters who are pursuing him; and Jessica is devastated when she sees Chester kissing another woman at a restaurant. Includes scenes from the preceding episode. Commercials deleted.
