This program illustrates some of the dangers that animal handlers Marlin Perkins, Jim Fowler, and Stan Brock faced during the filming of the long-running series. Highlights include the following: a dangerous encounter with a male elephant seal on a California beach; a cow elephant in South Africa charging a vehicle; a huge alligator from the Louisiana Bayou that escaped a roping; the rescue of a stranded wild puma; the capture of an anteater on the plains of Guyana, South America; a shark attack; a condor capture on a cliff in Peru; and the capture of an anaconda in a South American lake. (This series ran on NBC from 1963 to 1971 and was syndicated from 1971 to 1988.)
