Summary
The first part in this four-part series, a revenge fantasy about Ruth, an unbecoming housewife who decides to live life to the fullest as a she-devil after discovering that being the "good wife" has its limitations. In this part, Ruth's husband Bobbo begins a love affair with a beautiful romance novelist named Mary Fisher. Though he does not believe that he needs to be faithful to his wife, whom he regards as overweight and useless, Bobbo does believe that he must be honest with her. He tells Ruth all about his affair and expects that she will be supportive. Ruth attempts to accept the situation and be happy, but as Bobbo's relationship with Mary continues, she slowly starts to come apart at the seams. Ruth decides to transform herself into the woman she has always wanted to be, a she-devil. Commercials deleted.
