LIFE AND LOVES OF A SHE-DEVIL, THE {PART 3 OF 4} (TV)

Summary

The third part in this four-part series, a revenge fantasy about Ruth, an unbecoming housewife who decides to live life to the fullest as a she-devil after discovering that being the "good wife" has its limitations. In this part, Ruth has opened her own temporary employment agency and begins the next phase of her revenge on Mary Fisher and Bobbo. When Bobbo's accounting firm needs a new computer operator, Ruth supplies the company with a computer wizard who helps her to embezzle one million dollars. The money is placed in a Swiss Bank account under Bobbo's name. Ruth then has Elsie, a disgruntled former secretary of Bobbo's, withdraw the money and bring it to her. Bobbo is arrested, and Ruth goes to work for Judge Bissop, who is to pass sentence in the case. Though Bissop plans on giving Bobbo only a year in prison, Ruth convinces him to raise the sentence to seven years, which she believes will be enough time to complete the next phase in her plan. Ruth reveals her intention to have plastic surgery and make herself into a new woman. Meanwhile, Mary is left with financial problems and a failing career. Commercials deleted.
