
ALL IN THE FAMILY: SAMMY'S VISIT (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about a working-class household presided over by the opinionated Archie Bunker. In this episode, entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr., stops by the Bunker house to pick up the briefcase he accidentally left in Archie's cab. Unable to keep the visit a secret, Edith tells one friend and soon other neighbors show up at the Bunker household to meet the star. No one is more excited than Archie, but despite his good intentions to impress Davis with his hospitality, Archie's deep-seated prejudices begin to emerge. Commercials deleted.
