
LOU GRANT: HOLLYWOOD (TV)
Summary
One in this series of dramas about a Los Angeles newspaper, its staff, and city editor Lou Grant. Lou becomes fascinated with an abandoned Hollywood restaurant and learns that its owner, a young prizefighter named Baby Duarte, was murdered there thirty years earlier. After finding that the case remains unsolved, Lou puts his staff to work on the story, with the help of former Tribune reporter Thea Taft (Margaret Hamilton). The murder suspects include a flirtatious movie star (Laraine Day), her agents, and a hot-tempered movie director (Paul Stewart). "Animal" befriends the eccentric woman (Nina Foch) who lives above the restaurant and discovers some shocking information about Duarte's death. Commercials deleted.
