One in this occasional series of interview specials, hosted by Barbara Walters. On this program, Walters's guests are actor Tom Selleck, actress/comedienne Roseanne Barr, and actor Tom Hanks. The first guest, Tom Selleck, discusses the following topics, among others: what the critics are saying about his acting since he appeared in the film "Three Men and a Baby"; how he kept his marriage a secret for so long; why he didn't have a marriage license before the ceremony was about to start; what worries him the most about becoming a father; how he met his wife while she was performing in the London version of "Cats"; and what kind of father he thinks he'll be. The second guest, Roseanne Barr, discusses the following topics, among others: being hit by a car when she was sixteen years old; why her parents sent her to a mental hospital at age seventeen; meeting her future husband after she left Utah; why she lost so much weight and then gained it all back; how she first started telling jokes while working as a cocktail waitress; going to an open microphone night at a comedy club and then realizing what she was destined to do; the rumors that have been circulating about her television show; how she feels about her sister; and what her life was like before she became rich and famous. The last guest, Tom Hanks, discusses the following topics, among others: what it took to play the role of a twelve-year-old boy in the movie "Big"; his tendency to be overly competitive about everything; what his childhood was like; living with his father when his parents divorced; how he became interested in acting; getting married for the second time; and what his newfound success has given him.
