Summary
One in this series of dramas about the personal and professional dilemmas confronting a close-knit group of friends -- urban baby boomers in their thirties -- living in Philadelphia. In this fourth-season premiere, Hope and Michael must decide whether or not they are going to have a bris for their newborn son. Michael's mother arrives at their home to see the baby with her boyfriend, Dr. Ben Teitleman, who seems eager to become part of their family. Complications ensue when Ben hires a moyel without consulting Michael, who has not yet decided whether or not to have a bris. Meanwhile, Hope is confused about where she will fit in if she and Michael decide to uphold their son's Jewish heritage. Includes commercials. This program is closed-captioned.
