MAX LIEBMAN PRESENTS: SPOTLIGHT {TAPE 2 OF 2} (TV)

Summary

Continued from T:20659. Tape two of two. One in this irregularly scheduled series of special presentations of musical comedies and revues. This "Spotlight" musical revue continues as Sonja Henie and her troupe perform on ice to a medley including "Young at Heart" and "Sleigh Ride." Skater Paul Andre does a comedy number dressed as a sailor, and the troupe returns to dance to a blues theme. Henie joins the group, skating a brief duet with Rudy Richard before spinning into her bow. The scene returns to Pat Carroll, who introduces a scene in a "typical" French dive. Rita Dimitri sings "Rien Que Nous Deux," and chorus members fight and romance each other to the tune of "Mon Homme." Pat Carroll and Jeannie Carson enter dressed as young French women, and Jack Buchanan and Jimmy Durante play the Apaches who try to tame them. The stars and chorus conclude the performance with "It's All Yours." Includes commercials and promos.
