M*A*S*H {MASH}: FOREIGN AFFAIRS (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H) stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this episode, Reddish, an American public relations man, attempts to convince Chong-Wha, a wounded North Korean pilot, that he should defect to the west. Reddish arrives at the 4077th believing that Chong-Wha purposely landed his plane in South Korea in order to collect the $100,000 reward and American citizenship offered by the United States Army to any defecting pilot. Unfortunately for Reddish, Chong-Wha would rather go to a P.O.W. camp than to the United States. Reddish, however, refuses to give up and tries desperately to get the pilot to change his mind. Meanwhile, Charles finds himself falling for Martine, a French Red Cross Nurse with a sordid past that would not receive a warm welcolme in Boston. Commercials deleted.
