RUGRATS: TOUCHDOWN TOMMY; THE TRIAL (TV)
Summary
One in this series of animated children's programs about one-year-old Tommy Pickles and his group of baby pals, who frequently embark on mischievous adventures right under the noses of their oblivious parents. This episode features two segments, "Touchdown Tommy" and "The Trial." In "Touchdown Tommy," Stu is eager to watch the big football game with his buddies while Didi and Betty go shopping. However, after Tommy bumps his head twice, Didi is concerned that the men will not keep an eye on the children and thinks she should stay home. Stu realizes that he must think of a quick and easy way to remedy the situation. He comes up with a brilliant idea: baby protective helmets. Each of the children is given one, which turns out to be necessary when the babies have their own football game over a bottle filled with chocolate milk. In "The Trial," one of Tommy's friends knocks down his favorite clown lamp, but he is uncertain who committed the horrible crime. Angelica suggests that they have a trial to deduce the identity of the guilty party. Acting as "persecutor," Angelica brings to light the person responsible for the act. Commercials deleted.
