Summary
One in this series of late-night talk shows hosted by Conan O'Brien. On this program, the scheduled guests include comedian Kevin Nealon and actor Adam West, and, sitting in with the band, is legendary harmonica player Toots Thielemans. Highlights include: in his opening monologue, Conan O'Brien discusses the American Airlines strike that may last through the Thanksgiving holiday and mentions some of the grievances the employees have against the airline. Following the monologue, Andy Richter, O'Brien's sidekick, talks about his progress in the New York City Marathon; next, O'Brien and Richter look at some celebrity X rays; following that, O'Brien talks to a photo of Ross Perot, with someone else controlling his lips, about the NAFTA situation; the first guest, Kevin Nealon, talks about being on "Saturday Night Live" for so long, what the new cast members are like, how he gets ideas for the "Weekend Update" segment of the show, his hobbies, and his unique ability in wine tasting which he demonstrates; O'Brien then talks with his neighbor Doug, who shows video slides of last Halloween; the next guest, Adam West, comments on how he is greeted by fans on the street, the work he did with O'Brien many years ago, whether the "Batman" craze was overwhelming to him, meeting the Pope during the height of "Batman's" popularity, and his feelings about the "Batman" movies; O'Brien ends the show with a campfire and a song that chronicles the past week of the show.
