Summary
One in this series of dramas that deals with the investigation, arrest, and prosecution of criminals. The first half of each episode concerns the police procedure that leads to the arrest of a suspect, while the second half covers the efforts of the district attorney to prosecute the case. In this episode, Detectives Briscoe and Logan investigate the brutal murder of a thirteen-year-old boy whose body is found on the street and learn the unknown victim's name, Johnny, and his address. Johnny was living in a foster home with other boys. One of them, Chris, beat Johnny to death when he became angry at him. Chris's attorney contends that Chris is not responsible for his behavior since he has an extra Y chromosome, which is theorized to cause uncontrollable violence. D.A. Stone argues that his violent behavior was learned and not physiologically predetermined. Commercials deleted.
