GOLDEN GIRLS, THE: SOPHIA'S WEDDING {PART 2 OF 2} (TV)

Summary

Continued from T:41625. Part two of two. One in this comedy series about four older women -- two widows, and a divorcée and her mother -- who share a home in Miami and help each other to cope with growing older and being single again. In this episode, Sophia and Max return from their honeymoon without having found a place of their own to live, so they stay with Dorothy, Rose, and Blanche for a few weeks. However, the unorthodox living arrangements lead to some tension, so they start looking for an apartment in earnest. Instead, they wind up leasing a concession stand on the boardwalk to open a pizza/knish stand. Unfortunately, they both come down with the flu and are unable to attend their grand-opening celebration, so the girls step in to help. After closing up the business for the day, they learn that the stand has burned to the ground. Max and Sophia decide that, like their business, their romance also is finished. Commercials deleted.
