Summary
One in this dramatic daytime serial about the socially disparate founding families of Genoa City, Wisconsin. In this episode, Danny and Cricket get married in Hawaii. The program begins back in Genoa City, where Nikki is forced to make a tough medical decision. She is suffering from chronic pain that can only be alleviated by surgery; but there are serious risks involved with an operation. Together, she and Jack weigh her options. Meanwhile, in Hawaii, Leanna meets an eccentric character over some lost luggage, and Cricket and Danny spend time remembering their deceased mothers as they prepare for their wedding. The wedding is a small outdoors affair, during which Gina serenades the couple. They follow the wedding with an elaborate luau celebration on the beach, and everyone congratulates the happy couple. Finally, Victor approaches Nikki with the suggestion that she and Jack and he and Ashley come together for the holidays, in order to make their children feel at ease in spite of the divorce and remarriages. On her part, Nikki is too consumed with fears about her health to worry about Victor. However, both Jack and Ashley observe that Victor is spending a little too much time worrying about Nikki, considering they are no longer together. Commercials deleted.
