Summary
One in this clash-of-cultures comedy series about Fran Fine, a flamboyant, wisecracking Jewish woman from Queens employed as a nanny by the upper-crust widower Maxwell Sheffield of Park Avenue. In this episode, Fran takes a separate vacation from the Sheffields in an attempt to assert her independence from the family. Her plan literally blows up in her face as she and her friend Val are beset by a hurricane at their tropical getaway, prompting the brash beauty to warmly reminisce about her time with the Sheffields in a series of zany flashbacks. Back in New York, Niles gleefully tortures C.C., who is confined to a wheelchair after breaking her leg. Commercials deleted. This program is closed-captioned.
