
NICKELODEON GLOBAL GUTS {SPECIAL OLYMPICS} (TV)
Summary
One in this series of children"s game shows in which three youngsters compete in four outrageous sporting events. Hosted by Mike OÕMalley and refereed by Moira Quirk, this program features three Special Olympic athletes from around the world. Contestants include Allison Schivitz and Katie Piety from the U.S. and Cesar Estrada from Mexico. In the first event, "Slam Dunk," the youngsters must dunk as many basketballs as possible in sixty seconds while attached to a harness. For the second event, "Basic Training," the contestants must quickly negotiate an obstacle course. The third event, "Invisible Boat," features the Olympians paddling across a pool while attached to a harness. For the last event, "Peak to Peak," the youngsters must leap across a series of peaks while attached to a bungee cord. Additionally, for the "Super Aggro Crag," the contestants climb the face of a simulated mountain as obstacles interrupt their paths. As the program concludes, "E.T." brings out the medals to the contestants. Commercials deleted.
