AS THE WORLD TURNS {THE CHORUS LINE EPISODE} (TV)
Summary
One in this long-running daytime serial, set in the midwestern town of Oakdale. In this episode, Emily demands that Lisa give her briefcase back, but Lisa denies any knowledge of its whereabouts. In Julia's hotel room, Jack confronts her and tells her to return the briefcase. Back in Atlantic City, Lily is forced to dance in Rose's place, but she cannot step in sync with the other chorus girls. Still faking amnesia, Molly goes to the television station, explaining that the familiar setting may help bring her memory back. Henry reveals to Katie that they have nothing to worry about; Molly remembers nothing about what they did. Emily confides in Chris about the briefcase, explaining that it is important to her because it belonged to her late father. Meanwhile, the argument about the briefcase sparks heated passion in Jack and Julia. Simon stops backstage after the show to see Rose and discovers that Lily has taken her place. At the television station, Abigail urges Holden to give Molly her job back; Katie and Henry panic. Lily tries to convince Simon that the diamond is fake, but Rose bursts in and blurts out that it is real. Commercials deleted.
