STRANGERS WITH CANDY: INVISIBLE LOVE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series that follows the exploits of Jerri Blank, a forty-six-year-old high-school freshman and self-described former "user, boozer, and loser." In this episode, Jerri has a secret relationship with Laird, one of the most popular boys in school. At the same time, Jerri's stepmother Sarah is being leeched by her boyfriend Stew, an unemployed butcher who claims to love her. Tammy asks Jerri when she and Laird are going to let their relationship out into the open, and Jerri replies that she thinks that the school's Make-Out Party might prove an appropriate venue. When Jerri asks Laird to go to the party, however, he declines. Meanwhile, Stew brings his two children to Sarah's house and threatens to leave when she tells him that she may not be able to support them. Jerri finally confronts Laird about going public with their relationship, but he refuses and severs the tie. Jerri goes home and discovers her stepmother crying because Stew has left her. After consoling each other, the two decide to go to the Make-Out Party together -- and run into their former loves. Commercials deleted.
