KINDERGARTEN: MOVIN' UP (TV)
Summary
One in this documentary series about a kindergarten class at Upper Nyack Elementary School in Nyack, New York. In this episode, it is the last week of kindergarten. The kids draw pictures representing their favorite part of the year and then act them out in a game of charades. Some of the children reflect on what "graduation" means, and how they feel about moving on to first grade. Miss Johnson helps the kids buy lunch in the cafeteria to practice for next year. Each child cleans out his or her cubbyhole, and Miss Johnson reads the book "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" The class graduates in an outdoor ceremony with their parents as guests.
