KING OF QUEENS, THE: GET AWAY (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about parcel delivery man Doug Heffernan, who lives in Queens, New York, with his wife Carrie and his father-in-law Arthur. In this episode, Doug and Carrie prepare for a road trip upstate to celebrate their anniversary with Deacon and Kelly. Doug wants to go to celebrate at a casino but is overruled. Nevertheless, eventually Doug and Carrie arrive at their room at a quaint inn with an apple orchard. There, Doug realizes he packed so quickly that he forgot pants and underwear. That evening, after dinner, Doug and Carrie return to their room, where he asks that she let him open the minibar. She says she'll trade the key for some sexual shenanigans. Then, Doug and Carrie hear Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" through the wall, which Deacon and Kelly always play as a prelude to lovemaking. Later, they hear it again. Then, in the middle of the night, they hear it yet again. Doug and Carrie realize that Deacon and Kelly are clearly having a lot more sex than they are. The next morning, Doug and Carrie wait for Deacon and Kelly to finish yet another session so that they can all have breakfast. Now Doug wants to emulate Deacon. Meanwhile, Carrie wants to know how Kelly's sex life can be so busy. Eventually, Doug is sick of Deacon making him look bad, particularly after Deacon and Kelly partake in some "afternoon delight." Doug wishes Deacon was having less sex, while Carrie wishes that she and Doug were having more. Then, Carrie tries to figure out some items she can purchase to spice up their sex life. Finally, Carrie has an idea: dressing up as the "Apple Princess." However, even that doesn't work. Thus, Doug and Carrie have to discuss what their problem is and how to fix it. Commercials deleted.
