MONK: MR. MONK AND THE OTHER WOMAN (TV)
Summary
One in this series about Sherlockian detective Adrian Monk, a man who develops an obsessive-compulsive disorder after his wife's murder. In this episode, a hot-shot lawyer is murdered, and one of the files in his office burned. Police Captain Stottlemeyer figures the client whose file was burned killed his lawyer over a lost case -- but Monk doesn't think the clues add up. Meanwhile, Monk has a breakthrough when he makes a date with the suspect's pretty neighbor, Monica. The murder plot thickens when Stottlemeyer's suspect is found dead in Monica's garage, and he thinks Monica did it. Monk disagrees, and he decides to sleep over Monica's house to make her feel safe. But when police uncover some details about Monica's estranged husband, they suspect Monk may be in serious danger. They rush to Monica's house, but Monk surprises them with yet another secret about Monica's life. This information sends Monk back to the dead lawyer's office to investigate -- and a new piece of evidence points Monk right to the killer. Includes commercials.
