BLUE HEELERS: REFLECTION (TV)
Summary
One in this drama series about the professional and personal lives of the uniformed cops of rural Mount Thomas (Australia). In this episode, Tom receives a service medal for thirty years with the police force. At his celebration, an aboriginal woman recognizes Tom and lashes out at him, claiming he stole her from her family years ago. Tom listens to the woman, Kim Cook, as she recalls what happened to her -- and he realizes that he is guilty as charged. Chris is shocked to discover that the money for Tom's gift has been stolen; she also thinks she heard an unannounced guest in Kim's room. The next morning Kim disappears without paying her bill. Meanwhile, Tom's encounter with Kim reconnects him to a part of his past he had long forgotten. He visits the area where Kim grew up and meets a woman who turns out to be Kim's aunt. The police investigate and locate Kim, and eventually the young woman has a chance to be reunited with her family. Commercials deleted.
