Summary
One in this darkly comic series focusing on a firm of brilliant but emotionally challenged attorneys in Boston.
In this episode, Chelina invites Alan to go to Texas with her to work on her appeal case for death row inmate Zeke Borns -- scheduled to be executed in less than 72 hours. Meanwhile, an old friend of Shirley, Miriam Watson, visits Crane, Poole, & Schmidt, to solicit some legal help; she is being charged with several hundred counts of paying for sex from men.
While Alan and Chelina flounder with the wacky Texas legal system, back in Boston, Lori considers lodging a sexual harassment charge after Denny pushes her buttons one too many times. Denny, in the meantime, is put in charge of Miriam's case, and though he ultimately achieves victory, Shirley suspects that he may have used unethical means.
Finally, as Zeke's execution nears, Alan scrambles to save the prisoner's life. Commercials deleted.
