HEROES: CHAPTER NINE: HOMECOMING (TV)

Summary

One in this fantasy drama about seemingly ordinary people all over the world who find out they have superpowers. This episode takes place on the day of the Union Wells Wildcats' homecoming game, when Claire is amazingly named homecoming queen. Meanwhile, Nathan finally receives the painting from Linderman which would seem to encourage Peter to "save the cheerleader, save the world." Also, Jessica tests out sniper rifles in the Nevada desert in preparation for getting her kidnapped son back from her estranged husband. In Chennai, India, Mohinder comes to realize that his dreams hold secrets, making him believe he must find a certain boy that will lead him on a correct path of discovery. Nathan destroys Linderman's painting because -- if he is to believe Peter -- the painting forecasts Peter's death at 8:12 that evening. Peter is not scared, though, and heads to Odessa, Texas. Ando continues waiting at the diner for Hiro, who is still stuck in the past. Peter encourages Ando to join forces with him to save Claire from Sylar. As 8:12 approaches, many major characters converge on Union Wells High, leading to calamitous results. Commercials deleted.
