Summary

One in this series of entertainment specials presented under the umbrella of "ABC Stage 67." A dramatic presentation of Truman Capote's short story. The program follows his reminiscences back thirty years, to a Christmas season spent as a boy with his distant relative and best friend, an elderly, eccentric woman. The story revolves around their special friendship and shared pleasures of baking fruitcakes, felling and decorating a Christmas tree, and flying kites. Commercials deleted.
