Summary
This drama is about elderly house painter Ted Long's heart attack and its aftereffects on his wife and family. In this portion, Ted is stricken and he and Emma move in with his son's family in order to preserve Ted's health. Unable to accept his restricted condition, Ted stubbornly tries to paint a hallway and is stricken again. His family reluctantly places him in a nursing home. (Presented under the umbrella of "The Big Event"; originally telecast on April 9, 1978.)
