Summary
Part one of a two-part story on this series of dramas about a black family (the Freemans) and a white family (the Halls) living in Depression-era Palmerstown, Tenn. In this portion, the Black Travelers, a black baseball team, comes to town and challenges the local white team. Commercials deleted. (Series title varies: as "Palmerstown, U.S.A.," 1980; as "Palmerstown," 1981.) Episode concludes on April 17, 1980 (T80:0712).
