Summary
One in this comedy/variety series starring Jackie Gleason. This program features a full-length episode of "The Honeymooners" entitled "Stand-In for Murder" in which Ralph Kramden is a dead ringer for an underworld figure and unwittingly becomes the target of a rival mobster's hit men. Includes commercials.
(This storyline was never resolved because time expired during the final scene. On the following week's program, aired on April 24, Gleason explained the outcome. See T84:0265 for the April 24, 1954 telecast.)
(Series title varies; "The Jackie Gleason Show" from 1952-1961 and 1966-1970; "Jackie Gleason and His American Scene Magazine" from 1962-1966. "The Honeymooners" spin-off replaced the variety series 1955-1956.)
